About us

Mary Dryden, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. She is also licensed to provide telehealth services across state lines. Dr. Dryden completed her Masters in School Psychology at Trinity University and practiced as a school psychologist in both Texas and then Colorado for several years. She then completed her Ph.D. in School Psychology at Texas Woman’s University and joined the faculty of UT Southwestern in 2020 in the Department of Psychiatry at the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities.

Expert Autism Diagnosis & Support

As a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology with over 15 years of experience in private practices, hospitals, and educational settings, Dr. Dryden is uniquely positioned to offer comprehensive evaluations and recommendations to support children and families feel and gain success. Throughout the evaluation process, Dr. Dryden aims to learn more about your child’s strengths, struggles, and how to best help them across different settings. While Dr. Dryden has worked with a variety of neurodiverse populations, her specialty is early diagnosis and intervention for Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Dr. Dryden’s therapeutic services focus on the treatment of challenging behaviors and anxiety in children and adolescents. She often works with parents and families to support understanding and intervention at home. Dr. Dryden is certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and is also licensed in Texas as a school psychologist.
